Our Spring Break cruise is officially cancelled. It’s hard to believe how quickly things have been changing. Less than a week ago I was wondering if we should go and worrying that the cruise would be cancelled. Now it is.

Norwegian has offered a choice of either a 100% refund or a future cruise credit of 125% of our original cost. We‘re leaning toward the refund but haven‘t decided. I don‘t even know what our deadline is because one hasn‘t been given. Shore Excursions was really great and refunded our money immediately, which makes me love the company even more. I cancelled the hotel reservation. Thankfully, I always make refundable hotel reservations (although I suspect they would have refunded anyway).

I just want to go somewhere warm. And there’s always Florida, which we could easily drive to. But I’m not convinced that Andrew or I won’t have a work emergency. And a long drive means gas stations and gas station bathrooms and fast food restaurants. I think I’m talking myself out of it as I type.

But I really want to be warm. And it snowed here today.
