8:23 am: I‘m just getting back to my capture activities after some unexpected activities this morning.

8:57 am: Ugh! I found another giant folder of dumped info. It‘s so tempting to just delete all of it, but that‘s not who I am. I‘m going through it all to make sure nothing valuable is lost.

10:54 am: I‘m probably only about halfway through that giant folder I found.

2:28 pm: I just finished the giant folder. And, immediately discovered another. Things were worse than I realized. This is a really valuable exercise.

4:41 pm: I‘m done for the day, but not done. This will continue into the weekend, and possibly beyond. But when I‘m done I‘ll be confident there are no more surprises lurking out there.

And this is a great lesson for me. Don‘t squirrel email away for another day, because it will stay there! I need it to be in my inbox until I triage it, and then filed somewhere that makes sense. I will do better going forward.
